It was a school, a “journey” that led them in a vital way to enter into the heart of the Good News. These are points that Chiara mentioned in many talks before and after 1997 and which she shared with a wide variety of audiences. In 1998, Chiara also explained them to children, responding to the difficult question: “Chiara, I want to become like Jesus, how can I do that?” and giving them a special “cube”, created by the intuition of the pedagogist focolarina, Roseli Weber, which shows the six points on its sides. Their cry of “That’s enough!” has, as we know, turned into appeals to those who could do something (such as the manifesto written by the Gen 4 in Portugal in 2021, which they took to a very important meeting, the European Union Summit2), into poems (such as the one written a few years ago by a 7-year-old Gen 4 from Uruguay), and into specific actions (as in 2023: “KidsAction4Peace”3).
