{"id":12670,"date":"2023-04-05T09:44:34","date_gmt":"2023-04-05T08:44:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gen4.focolare.org\/?post_type=wpdmpro&#038;p=12670"},"modified":"2024-03-04T14:21:59","modified_gmt":"2024-03-04T13:21:59","slug":"04_today-i-discovered-heaven-module-n-4","status":"publish","type":"wpdmpro","link":"https:\/\/gen4.focolare.org\/fr\/download\/04_today-i-discovered-heaven-module-n-4\/","title":{"rendered":"04_Today, I discovered heaven: Module n.4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>Love like Jesus and pray always like He did (For you)<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>A) For the assistants. <\/strong><strong>Ideas from Chiara\u2019s themes: <em>When you love, you are Jesus, therefore, you are continuously in prayer. \u2013 \u201cFor you\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1) <em>When you love, you are Jesus, therefore, you are continuously in prayer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How should we pray?\u00a0 Speaking to the focolarini in 1998, Chiara remembered how, \u201cfrom an early age,\u201d she and the first focolarine had strongly felt this invitation from the Holy Spirit: <em>\u201cYou must pray always.\u201d And how to do it: [\u2026] <strong>to be able to pray always, it would be enough to be Jesus, because if we are Jesus, He is always in front of the Father, He is continuously in prayer.\u00a0 And the Holy Spirit taught us: to be Jesus, it is necessary to love.\u00a0 [\u2026] when you love, you are Jesus, therefore, you are continuously in prayer.\u00a0 <\/strong>So, this command to pray always, which is then present in the Scriptures, was our command: and you must pray always. [\u2026]\u201d <\/em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201cFor you\u201d &#8212;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And here are some suggestions given by Chiara in order to \u201cPray always.\u201d We find them, for example in the talk given in 1988 on \u201cPrayer in the family\u201d: <em>\u201c[\u2026] <strong>Jesus, in teaching to pray, said two things which seem contradictory, but it is not so.\u00a0 He affirmed: \u201cWhen you pray, say a few words (cf. Mt. 6:7) and then: \u201cit is necessary to pray always\u201d (cf Lk 21:36). Every family also needs to follow these two guidelines. Say a few words.\u00a0 When? There are various moments of the day that, more than others, require some prayer in the family.\u00a0 <\/strong>[\u2026] <strong>In the morning, upon waking up, in immersing ourselves in the supernatural world in which we were inserted in baptism, with short prayers to the Holy Trinity, to the heavenly Father in particular, to Mary, to our guardian Angel\u2026 <\/strong>it would be good <strong>to offer to God our day <\/strong>with everything that it entails, as said in that prayer which many know: \u201cI offer you the actions and the sufferings of my day.\u201d\u00a0 God, in fact, must be loved, and to love means to give.\u00a0 So, every morning, let us give our new day to God. <strong>It will be good to think of God also before breakfast, lunch, dinner. <\/strong>[\u2026]\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And here is another excerpt of the talk given by Chiara to Muslim friends in 1999, mentioned more often in these modules: <em>\u201c[\u2026] For us, one way to <strong>\u201cpray always\u201d <\/strong>is that of <strong>offering to God every action that we do during the day, beginning it with short expressions of love, like: \u201cFor you.\u201d\u00a0 Even children know how to do it, and they do it with much love. They say they make of each action a well-wrapped little package to be sent to Heaven, to God, with a \u201cfor You.\u201d In doing so, all our actions are transformed into a sacred act, and the conversation with God continues throughout the day. <\/strong>[\u2026] <\/em>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">B) Objectives of the Gen 4 Meeting<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-To discover how, by loving, we can live \u201clike Jesus,\u201d and \u201cspeak\u201d always with God the Father<\/p>\n<p>-To discover the secret of doing everything \u201cFor You\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">C) Gen 4 Meeting Contents: <em>drops of light with the Sacred Scriptures <\/em><\/span><\/strong><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">and with the Spirituality (answers of Chiara)<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Sacred Scriptures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8211; first part of the episode of the call of the apostles: <\/em><\/strong>Jesus came on earth to teach us to live as it is in Heaven, to be like Him always, in dialogue with God, His father and our Father <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">(Attachment C1)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Spirituality: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Answers of Chiara <\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\">(Attachment C2)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-on the dice:<\/strong> How can we become like Jesus \u2013 to live here on earth as it is in Heaven<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>A gen4 girl: <strong>\u201cI want to be like Jesus! How can I do this?\u201d <\/strong><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Chiara: She wants to be like Jesus, and she asks \u201cHow can I do this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We must do what we have been saying, we must love. But be careful. Let\u2019s see if you\u2019ll be able to remember what I\u2019m going to tell you now. [\u2026]<\/p>\n<p>First we have to love everyone. For example, when you go home you might say, \u201cI love Mom, I love my little brother, I love Dad, but not my aunt.\u201d This is not loving. Or you might be at school and say: \u201cI love my teacher, I love my friend, that other friend &#8230; but I don\u2019t like that other girl.\u201d This is not love, it\u2019s not true love, and you can\u2019t become Jesus if you do this. We must love everyone, make ourselves love everyone. This is what we did when we were young, when we were just beginning to live the Ideal. We have to make ourselves love everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Second, we must be the first to love, which means, not second, but first. We are the ones who have to begin loving. When we go home we might find our sister with a long, sad face because she\u2019s bored, fed up or not interested in anything; she doesn\u2019t want to play, she doesn\u2019t want to study &#8230; Don\u2019t wait, don\u2019t wait for her to start loving you. You have to begin, you have to love first, and say: \u201cAre you feeling ill? How is everything going? Do you have a problem? Would you like to tell me about it? Do you want us to go outside? Shall we play a game?\u201d You have to be the first to love.<\/p>\n<p>So the first point is to love everyone.<\/p>\n<p>The second is: be the first to love.<\/p>\n<p>Third point: we have to see Jesus in everyone; in everyone, everyone, everyone, even in someone who is ugly, even in a person who wears torn and raggedy clothes[\u2026]. \u00a0We must see Jesus in everyone, because Jesus is there in everyone. He said: \u201cWhatever you do to others, you do to me.\u201d So Jesus is there in every person.<\/p>\n<p>[\u2026] The fourth, which is also on your cube, is to love others as we love ourselves, as if it were me, as if it were me. I wouldn\u2019t be happy if someone threw stones at me. So I can\u2019t be happy if someone throws stones at anyone else; I have to love that person as I love myself.<\/p>\n<p>So, do what is written on the cube and you\u2019ll learn how to love. This is the answer to the question of the Gen 4: \u201cHow can I become like Jesus?\u201d By living what is written on the cube; the cube also says that we have to love one another.<\/p>\n<p>That cube is important, remember it. Remember that Chiara, (that\u2019s me), that I also live what is written on that cube. I might not have the cube in my hands, even though I really like it very much. I know that it says: love one another, make yourself one, love Jesus in the other person, love everyone, even an enemy; be the first to love. All this is on the cube \u2013 hold on to it; don\u2019t let anyone destroy it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><strong>on \u201cFor you\u201d<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> so that my whole day may be love, as that of Jesus<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>A gen4 girl: <strong>\u201cChiara, what do you tell Jesus when you wake up?\u2019 This question comes to you from Anna in Brazil, who is five years old.\u201d <\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><u>Chiara<\/u>: Five years old. Anna, a Gen 4 in Brazil, asks me, \u201cWhat do you do when you wake up in the morning?\u201d The first thing I do is to tell Jesus: \u201cEverything I will do today is for you, it\u2019s all for you. I offer you everything. I offer you everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This morning, too, I told him: \u201cThe Gen 4 meeting is for you. My breakfast is for you. Going there by car is for you. My prayers are for you. It\u2019s all for you&#8230;.for you&#8230; everything is for you!\u201d That\u2019s what I tell Jesus as soon as I wake up.<\/p>\n<p>Then, during the day, before each thing I have to do, if I remember, I tell Jesus: \u201cThis is for you, too, this is for you, this is for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this slide, you see a Gen 4 boy who just woke up and says, \u201cJesus, I offer you everything. Everything is for you. My whole life is for you. My whole day is for you.\u201d And instead here is a Gen 4 girl.
