KidsAction4Peace-Would you like to help us too?
It all began with an idea that 18 children and teenagers from around Europe had about how they could help their friends who are suffering due to the war in Ukraine. They started a campaign to raise the awareness for the need for peace, in the hope of touching the hearts of the presidents or prime ministers of all the Europeans nations. The idea is that each child or teen makes a drawing, composes a poem or writes a short letter about peace, citing the hashtag #KidsAction4Peace, and then ask at least five other children to do the same thing. They can also share the message on social media using a picture. Everything should be sent to the head of their own country, or to a country of their choice, between January 25-30, using the postal address from the published list.
The protagonists are 18 children from 7 to 12 years of age from Italy, Portugal and Belgium. Their names are Sofia, Agnes, Matthew, Constance, Nicholas, Matthias, Theresa, Cristina, Anastasia, Leonor, Margarida, Leonor, Joao, Leonor, Thiméo, Mathilde, Adéline and Aurélien. The project will end on January 30, the Day of Nonviolence and Peace organized in schools and a week before the Special European Council scheduled for February 9 and 10 in Brussels, Belgium.
